I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Buffalo State University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University at Buffalo in 2013. My career has included work in community-based and clinical settings such as immigrant and refugee shelters, programs supporting justice-involved families, and services for individuals with developmental disabilities. I also held leadership roles within nonprofit organizations overseeing programs for children and families with mental health and other complex needs.
After many years working within larger systems, I transitioned into private practice to provide more personalized and responsive care.
I have extensive experience providing therapy in homes, schools, and community settings, allowing me to meet clients where they are with flexibility and understanding. I have also served in supervisory roles for many years, value mentoring emerging clinicians in the mental health and social work fields, and provide clinical supervision and workshops for clinical staff, community members, and organizations.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, family and relationship challenges, ADHD, and ASD, and I also specialize in supporting first responders and their families.
My approach is warm, direct, and trauma-informed, integrating CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based techniques. I prioritize genuine connection and creating a safe, authentic space for clients, where growth can include both insight and humor.
Outside of the office, I enjoy gardening, traveling, hiking, balancing motherhood, occasional doom scrolling, and reality TV binges like the true millennial I am.
